The Rush Select program is another perk to being part of the Rush family, as every year Rush National invites 60 players (based on coach recommendations and past experience) to try out for a Rush Select National team in each age group (U13-15 boys and girls).
This fall we had some outstanding individuals represent Rush Jackson at the ID camps, with Ashley Myall (U14G), Sydney Slusarski (U15G) and Brayon Tanner (U13B) being selected to represent various Rush teams overseas (Italy and Germany) and here at home (Phoenix showcase).
Here is what they had to say about their Rush Select ID Camp experience:
“It was such an amazing experience! It was definitely the most intense soccer I've played in my whole life against some of the best girls in the country, but it was a good thing. The competition was intense but once I relaxed and let my training take over I had a great time. It's already opened my mind to all the places I can go if I continue to pour my heart into my game.”

“I would first off like to say that just going to Arizona was a great honor. I'm looking forward to being on the Rush Select team and the challenges that come with it. If I had to give someone advise on how to make the team I would tell them to be humble and work the hardest your body will go. Don't look at your mistakes, look at your achievements. Be positive and keep your head up. Don't always go with the flow, sometimes it's more important to be the leader.” Ashley Myall, U14G
